Wales Rally GB – Leg 2

Petter is still 4th when a struggling and challenging day 2 of the 75th Wales Rally GB is completed. Mikko Hirvonen is still in the lead, with Grønholm and Loeb right behind. Petter suffered a spin on the first stage of the day, but managed to get back in track without loosing too much time. Going to the midday service he scared us again, when the car refused to start when they were leaving the timecontrol. The car had to be pushed into the servicearea, and the mechanics fixed the problem.
A fantastic stage inside the Millenium Stadium made a good ending of the day, and Petter fulfilled it with a “donut” after the finish line. Grønholm set the fastest time on the stage, while Latvala managed to set the fastest time on every other stage for the day. Both Latvala and Henning have been competing under SupeRally regulations today, as they were having problems with visibility on the stages Friday evening. Andreas Mikkelsen went off the road on SS9 and had to retire.
