Arrived in Sapporo
It has been an incredible week here in Japan – lot of work and a lot of fun. I’ve tested the new Subaru Streetcar and that was good fun, and I was very impressed! I’ve been to a Subaru-factory and met 1000 employees. I’ve was at the annual meeting in the Japanese Subaru Fan Club, and I also met with the President of Fuji and the board. So – as you can see, the week has been adventurous.
I’ve landed in Sapporo now and recce is starting tomorrow. I met Viki and Shige from PSSC earlier today – it is good to see they are on sight already, and I’m sure we will see more of them during the week!

Hi guys,
Rally is over, I am finally getting home 9pm Wednesday night. I have work to do for Tone for the site so don’t tell her I was here writing messages.. ha ha.
I got new internet service while I was gone so my speed is finally enough to get into the site from home. For the last year I couldn’t enter site due to my server being so slow that it timed out every time I tried to get in.
As I mentioned to some of you in emails that I could get into the site from school but that the forums are blocked for security reasons from those computers.
I haven’t slept for 10 days and I ate bread and rice balls for 8 of 10 days. so I feel terrible… No protein shakes and no vegetables. We had delicious seafood on Monday last week and Monday this week but during recce and rally there is no time for real food.
Hiroyuki & I are working on our reports now…
Will try to post little by little.
It was great to see Petter at the very beginning of the week before everyone was dead tired. He was with Henning as well and Cato so we met and got autographs right away and got that out of the way. That night we also met Toni Gardemeister and Tomi Tuominen that night and spent a lot of time talking with them. Toni became really cool lately, he looks like Val Kilmer! :-)
I better get my 10 days of laundry started and my lessons ready for tomorrow and then come back to my new and improved faster PC!
