Petter – we’re all here and in full support, however we’re aware that returning to the WRC without the financial backing and technical support of Subaru is going to be very difficult, particularly in the current economic climate.
I sincerely hope that you, your sponsors and Prodrive can sort something out! Sure it’s conceivable you could drive another manufacturer’s car – but you and Subaru are now synonymous – I can’t imagine you driving anything else these days!
I really hope to see you (and Phil!) behind the wheel of an Impreza WRC in Ireland.

Petter I really hope you can sort something out for 2009. I know how strong your relationship with Subaru is, I know how hard it feels and I understand that you are working really hard to arrange plans for next year. I cried when I found out about Subaru’s withdrawal.

I hope you can work it out Petter. Maybe Prodrive and FHI can offer you a S15..so you can finally show what this car is capable off. I know one thing for shure, that you are an incridible driver and next to that an impressive PR man for Subaru. In Japan they really admire you, especially at Subaru.
And this..throug Subaru I started to know rally..Saw the legacy always break down with Markku at the helm..Prodrive pushed up the speed and reliability..then came Colin, Carlos…and you Petter. All the best in the world..The blue team is/was my biggest hobby for twenty years..

Petter! It was a sad day to find out that SWRT had dropped out of the WRC… The main reason I watched the WRC was for the Subaru camp!!! You are a great driver and you shouldnt have any trouble finding a drive for next year…(hopefully a subaru)

When you and Phil won the WRC title my daughter made a card for you and we sent it on..she got some stickers/magazine etc from Subaru and we were thrilled for you and the team and shared in your success. Thanks for the ride. We are very sorry to hear that there will be no official Subaru blue in Ireland this year. I am sure that I can speak for all the teams fans here in Ireland (and there are very, very many)- you guys will be greatly missed. The WRC will never be the same without you.

Med Super 2000-biler om et år er SWRT tilbake. I mellomtiden må du overbevise sjefene at du bør kjøre for Adapta i 2009 fordi:
1: Du vil fortsatt profilere både Subaru og Prodrive på denne måten
2: Du tar fortsatt poeng i WRC
og når SWRT er tilbake i 2010 kjenner publikum deg enda, og du er en mye bedre merkevare enn om de satser på en ny sjåfør!
Spørs bare om Phil vil være med og kjøre bil nummer 2 for et norsk lag da!

Endelig skulle jeg få se Petter’n kjøre rally i Norge igjen! Har ikke sett deg siden du, og Pernilla mener jeg å huske, kjørte i Larvik:) Og så kommer bomba! Subaru trekker seg!! Jeg har ikke hatt ro i sjela siden jeg så beskjeden, og sjekker nettet konstant for å finne ut av hvordan situasjonen er.

Any team in the wrc should take you and phil Onboard there team because your a fighter, you never give up on trying, like the times with your old style Impreza just could not keep up, You just hang in there and just kept on givin it everthing you had to give in the dated car.The team stoped moving but you never.
