We are still talking to both Subaru and Prodrive, but we have not concluded on anything yet. At the moment nothing is decided for 2009 and further. However, it is not likely that Petter will be in Ireland in the end of January 2009, due to tight schedules.
Petter will do his best to sort something out as soon as possible, in order to be back in the WRC.

I really hope Petter sort things out so we will see him in Rally Norway.
WRC will not be the same without Petter. :-(

Dissapointed you wont make it to Rally Ireland!
Stood outside the team garage on second last day of Rally Ireland 08 with 12yr old brother in law. when Petter came in from a grueling day of stages he made time to come ofer and sign some items(we got one!)

well what can you say every thing in the uk is a right mess at the moment, i can see more things happning with wrc and f1 before it gets better. petter i think you and phil should try to go down the road of what guy wilks has done with club 500 if you can not solve anything i think suport you would have would be something else i know it did not work for guy cause he was ment to be one of you’re team mates next season which is also a shame i would love to see you both in a citroen where you can compete well and have a hell of a car hope you sort something im sure you will it will be a shame to lose a top driver and a star good luck

If not Subaru get back in wrc, its the last roadcar I ever by from them.
Too bad Subaru quits, but this is a great opportunity to get yourself a seat in a winning car Petter! In a Ford or Citroen you would be winning again, but in a Subaru, mmm i think not…
That’s no prob to not go to Irland, bcoz it’s not ur favolit rally and surface a,d like in monte carlo u struggle a lot on these stuffs.
So u can still win a championship like in 2003 even if u get 0 pts in the 1st rallies (remember 2003). So no worry at all

I hope you can return to the WRC as soon as possible, your figure and charisma is a important part of the championship. Bad news in Subaru started with this ugly impreza hatchback that finished a beautiful car style.
You autographed my hat when you visited Chile in 2006, a country were you have a lot of fans.
