On the podium – Rally Mexico!
- I am absolutely mega-happy right now, I’ve been controlling this the whole weekend. I were not afraid to be first on the road on Saturday, even though I knew I were going to loose half a second per kilometer. It were my choice, and I knew I could still be top three, which were the main target for the weekend. There will be some strategic thinking before Jordan, but I must say this looks good for the rest of the season!
An amazing weekend is finished her in Mexico, with the Petter Solberg World Rally Team on the podium. It was a thriller to the final end, but Petter and Phil just got the second place in front of Sebastien Ogier who ended third. Sebastien Loeb won the event.

Well i did say it last year when the news broke that Petter had gone for citroen instead of ford. he was going to be “Citroens guinea pig”. i would put money on it that petter followed team orders on friday evening and was forced to run first on the road on saturday to help loeb!
Also, if sordo didnt have a problem and the ford had been able to get the engine to work at high altitude there would have been 3 cars ahead of petter.
Many congratulations to Petter, Phil and the whole PSWRT! What a fantastic achievement and well deserved. The hard work is paying off. I am hoping to see you on the podium many more times this season

Congrats! ! ! Really enjoyed listen to that rally. I had a felling last week about this rally, So i called work on Friday saying i didn’t fell well.HA Really just wanted to listen to wrc radio. Think that was a good decision not to slow off on Friday for better road position on Saturdays stages as you say “Give 110%”

Congratulations for your result.
I’m a Citroen’s and Sebastien Loeb’s fan (not a joke but the naked truth), but I wish You were the one to win this rally. I think You could have done this. Remember, You’re the only one that took a campion’s cup from him.
I think You made the best choice by joining Citroen and get that super special car (Citroen C4). This combination could be as great as Sebastien-Citroen, if not greater.
I really apreciate that You did not resign and fight all the way to remain a World Rally Pilot and hopefully, again, a World Rally Champion.For that You’re the only one that I’ll encurage and hope You to win over him.
Wish You all the luck and knowledge. I am looking forward to see You as Seb’s real only rival and how You’ll make him fight for title.

I say frank, as a result of in Sweden, I didn’t even think that you get the podium in Mexico.
But you were the fastest on the Day 1. It will be many rallies since your having taken the top last. I was excited after a long absence.
Unfortunately you lowered position on the Day 2, but continued still fighting till the last to Ogier. As a result, you took the second place at the last stage.I was relieved by it very much.
Next round, Jordan. Good luck and have a nice rally.
